Nixie Clock IN-14

Clock in retro design with Nixie tubes IN-14.
The tubes are from Russian production (ca. 1950-1970) and were recycelt from old electronic equipment.

Nixie tubes work according to the principle of glow lamps. This type of display has be used in electronic devices or computers. Despite the retro design, the electronics are state-of-the-art. The tubes can be additionally colored with built-in LED’s.

The housing is made of old oak wood. Milled from solid wood and finished by hand.
